Our Story
The idea for Picnic came in 2022, when our founder started participating in park cleanups amid encountering countless tons of litter during vacations. Many organizations that host cleanups encounter a key problem: they cannot find areas to cleanup. Picnic is the first of its kind that aims to solve this niche problem. Through pictures of littered areas, more people will be able to find and cleanup littered locations. By encouraging online collaboration between communities, we at Picnic hope for a healthier planet, one picture at a time.

Tanay is dedicated to innovating technologies that combat climate change and ensuring equitable access to these advancements for everyone, regardless of their socioeconomic status. Born and raised in Arizona, he witnesses the effects of extreme environmental conditions without proper climate relief.
In his free time, Tanay enjoys table tennis, cricket, and soccer.

Upon learning about picnic, Kai was eager to join the team and help raise awareness for the environmental cause.
As COO, he ensures Picnic's reach is effective and collaborates with partner organizations.

Keerthana promotes awareness of our mission by increasing user engagement through website development.
As marketing manager, she manually approves submitted photos of litter and curates aspects of our webpage.

He ensures Picnic can optimize its services to spread our message as far and wide as possible.
